Keeping with the s'more theme, I made s'mores bars to bring to a BBQ.
Ingredients:
Crust:
Half a stick of melted butter
2 cups crushed graham crackers (crumble them up)
Dough:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup softened butter
pinch of salt
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Candy barsFirst to make the crust, break up the graham crackers and add in 1/2 a stick of melted butter. Spray the bottom of the 9x9 pan with pan and add in the crust (mold into the pan). Once this step is complete it will look like the picture above.
Then in a small bowl, mix together: sugars, vanilla, egg, and softened butter. Then add in the salt, baking soda and flour. Gently stir in mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Once the dough is made, place on top of the crush and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes add chunks of the Hershey’s bar on top, gently pushing down and place back in the oven for 5-7 more minutes.
Take out of the oven (hopefully it will look like the below picture ) let them cool then cut and serve!
